GED Ready

Every answer explained. Every answer cited. All four GED subject tests in one offline app.

This is a study aid built around a simple idea: a practice question is only worth doing if you come away understanding why the right answer is right. So every question carries a written explanation and a source citation — all 163 of them, with no exceptions.

WHAT YOU GET

• 163 original practice questions across 12 content domains, spanning all four subject tests: Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies
• A worked explanation on every question — 11,691 words of them
• 40 questions built on reading passages, founding documents, charts and graphs, the way the real test presents them
• 22 study lessons totaling 13,952 words, written for this app
• 7 reference sheets: test structure and scoring, the math formula sheet provided on test day, math facts and calculator notes, grammar and usage, a science reference, a social studies reference, and a test-day checklist

FULL-LENGTH PRACTICE TEST

A timed simulator that follows the real four-section structure — 70 questions in 170 minutes:

• Reasoning Through Language Arts — 20 questions, 45 minutes
• Mathematical Reasoning — 20 questions, 50 minutes
• Science — 16 questions, 42 minutes
• Social Studies — 14 questions, 33 minutes

At the end you get an estimated score on the official 100–200 subject scale, where 145 is passing, 165 is College Ready, and 175 is College Ready + Credit. Real scoring is equated per form, so treat the estimate as a direction indicator rather than a prediction.

STUDY THE WAY YOU WANT

• Work a whole subject, or narrow to one weak domain — algebra, civics, earth science, grammar
• Flag any question to come back to it later
• Review mode replays everything you missed or flagged
• Stats track accuracy per domain, so you can see where the work actually is

THE EXTENDED RESPONSE

The language arts essay gets a lesson of its own: a 45-minute plan that scores, broken down into what to read for, how to build the response, and what scorers reward.

OFFLINE, AND PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION

No ads. No analytics. No trackers. The app holds no internet permission, so it cannot make a network request at all, and it asks for no camera, location, microphone, contacts, or storage access. Your study history stays on your device because there is no route off it. Everything works in airplane mode.
