BIS Standards are made available to the public under the provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Act of 1986 and the Right to Information Act (RTI) of 2005. Thanks to Public Resources and Archive to make the resources available to the public for free.

Standards Android application helps to search, retrieve and organise the BIS standards from archive.org. Standards applications helps you to search the relevant Indian standard from archive.org based on Indian Standard numbers(example: IS 919-1) or keywords or based on different division of engineering groups. Indian standard can be downloaded and viewed in a PDF Viewer which is built with in the application or can be locally downloaded to the Android Download Folder.

A Search can be based on IS Standards number with autocomplete feature or using Keywords or Based on Division search. In division search each division has sub divisions which can narrow down the search to the relevant IS Standards.
