Birdz Spectral

Birdz Spectral transforms your phone into a control screen for your B-Toolz device: visualize real-time occupancy of the EU868 (863–870 MHz) radio band used by LoRaWAN connected devices, and verify ETSI EN 300 220 regulatory compliance directly in the field.

WIRELESS CONNECTION
Direct Bluetooth Low Energy connection to the B-Toolz device (BGX13 module),
without third-party hardware or applications.

REAL-TIME SPECTRUM
70 bins of 100 kHz covering the entire 863.0–869.9 MHz band, with configurable peak hold and decay, and a waterfall view to track the spectrum history over time.

SCAN MODES
Full band scan or real-time tracking of a single frequency,
to target a specific channel.

DUTY CYCLE AND COMPLIANCE
Cumulative duty cycle (%) with time history and occupancy summary by regulatory sub-band (g, g1, g2, g3, g4) with automatic alerts in case of ETSI limit exceedances — details available per named channel (F1, F2, LR2…) and per active bin.

SIGNAL DETECTION
List of signals detected above a configurable threshold, for quick identification of active sources on the band.

MOBILE MEASUREMENT (DRONE, VEHICLE)
GPS position recorded at each measurement pass, useful for mapping radio occupancy during movement.

EXPORT AND SHARING
Export in SigMF format (.sigmf-meta), entirely reconstructed from the application's measurements (spectrum, history, duty cycle, GPS position):

- local sharing via the native share sheet (email, messaging, etc.)
- direct upload to the cloud, with generation of a signed link
