User Reviews
Pros
- Beginner-friendly with gradually increasing drills and a comfortable pace, making it easy to learn to read music.
- Excellent for practice due to unlimited repeats and randomized notes, reinforcing reading skills without memorization.
- Good value—an affordable full version and optional add-ons, with less cost than traditional methods.
- Supports multiple clefs (treble and bass) and cross-clef practice, helping users build reading fluency across staves.
- Flexible input options and effective note recognition (MIDI and microphone where supported), enhancing practice versatility.
Cons
- Free version is too limited; many features and drills are locked behind a paywall.
- Even among paid options, there are not enough levels per clef and more content feels gated behind purchases.
- Microphone input can be unreliable on some devices; MIDI input is often more dependable.

The best free (or so far free) app of that type I have ever seen.

Recognition via cell phone microphone works, but has limitations. If the tone lingers to long the next note is already affected. Quite often the tone will not be registered at all. MIDI via USB works really well, but only if connected directly to the keyboard. It doesn't recognise a keyboard via an USB Hub. Still, thats the best option to use. On screen keyboard also works nicely, though I don't use that. I can definitely recommend it. I'm quite impressed with the results!🥰
