Pros

Temperature detection is accurate and reliable.
The device supports multiple probes (4 to 6) allowing monitoring of several data points.
Convenient remote monitoring from across the house is possible (when app works).
The hardware unit and probes function reasonably well when connected.

Cons

The app crashes frequently, sometimes within seconds of opening or after connecting to device.
Connectivity issues causing constant disconnect and reconnect notifications, which are annoying and disruptive.
Alarms and notifications in the app are unreliable; device beeps but app may crash or not alert properly.
User interface issues such as inability to set custom target temperatures or alarm ranges, confusing navigation, and the app requiring location services enabled.
Image upload and media assignment features in the app are broken or unreliable.
App only supports portrait mode and display truncates temperature info above 99°F.

I've used this for several years and find that the temperature detection is great. But I do find that the thermometer isn't great at setting target ranges. When you're doing smoking. I can't get the temperature dialed in to exactly what I'm looking for for my alarms. If that could be customized it would be great. Also the app crashes quite a bit. Almost to the point where it's not usable sometimes

The unit itself works pretty good and that's all. The app won't stay open, it closes 2 seconds after opening. Seems like something that could be fixed easily but it hasn't. Issue has been ongoing for at least 6 months.
