Bentflow Android

Bentflow

Live system telemetry — battery, thermal, network and storage, in a bento grid

Overview

Features & Capabilities

📊 BentoFlow turns your device's own sensors into a dashboard you actually want to
look at. Every reading is laid out on a calm bento grid — flat, matte, no neon
gauges, no glowing dials, no fake spaceship UI.

Everything is measured on your device and stays on your device.

▪️ WHAT IT SHOWS

🔋 Battery — level, health, voltage and temperature, with a rolling 24-hour drain
history and discharge-cycle breakdown.
🌡️ Thermal — live temperature, distribution across the device, and a performance
trend over time.
📡 Network — real round-trip latency and jitter, measured with an actual
connection test, not an estimate.
💾 Storage — used and free space at a glance.
💡 Ambient light — current lux reading with a 24-hour light profile.
⏱️ Uptime — continuous runtime since your last reboot.
🔐 Security status — whether biometric hardware is present and enrolled.
📱 Screen time — which apps you used and for how long (optional, see below).

📋 DIAGNOSTIC LOG

Every reading is written to a local diagnostic log you can browse and filter by
category — system, network or security. Export the whole log as a CSV file
through the Android share sheet whenever you want it somewhere else.

🎨 DESIGN

BentoFlow follows one rule: show the number, and nothing else. Monospaced
readouts that don't jitter as digits change. Flat clay-white cards with hairline
borders. No gradients, no drop shadows, no glare. Charts are drawn as thin solid
lines with no grid, no axis labels and no data-point dots — just the shape of the
trend.

🔒 PERMISSIONS, HONESTLY

BentoFlow does not read your location, contacts, messages, photos, files,
microphone, camera or calendar.

The screen-time tile needs Android's "Usage access" permission. Android will not
grant it automatically — you enable it yourself in Settings, and you can revoke
it at any time. Everything else works without it.

The latency test opens a brief connection to a public DNS server to time the
round trip. Nothing about you is sent.

Sensor readings are stored only in the app's private storage, and uninstalling
removes all of them.
