WE-CARE is a mobile app designed for women of childbearing age (18-44 years old) to screen for risky alcohol and drug use behaviours.

The goal of WE-CARE is to increase the rate of universal screening and referrals to treatment so as to identify and meet a woman’s need for treatment in a timely fashion.

WE-CARE offers you referrals to addiction treatment and recovery centres located in central Florida. You will remain anonymous when you call or text a healthcare provider near your location.
WE-CARE provides anonymous validated e-screening for alcohol and drug abuse behaviours.
WE-CARE assists with anonymous linkage to care for women at risk.
You may watch short 3-5 minute educational videos about alcohol, drugs, and other related risky behaviours.
You can connect to the community and have an opportunity to ask questions using an anonymous discussion forum, moderated by a healthcare professional.
