User Reviews

Users praise Greek Reference as an informative, easy-to-use grammar and lexicon essential for studying ancient Greek, including biblical Greek. It’s viewed as a strong, useful dictionary and helpful reading aid with an intuitive interface. Repeated concerns, however, include an incomplete vocabulary lacking common words, limited search options (no word-form/morphology search), and keyboard issues (search often requires a Greek keyboard; a virtual keyboard would help). Some texts also yield no results in certain editions, indicating occasional coverage gaps.

Cons
  • Incomplete vocabulary with missing common words.
  • Limited search options (no word-form/morphology/paradigm search).
  • Keyboard/search issues (search often requires a Greek keyboard; a virtual keyboard would help).
  • Some texts yield no results in certain editions, indicating coverage gaps (e.g., Loeb Epictetus).
