Belicia Maps

Digitizing Mining Mapping and Technical Calculations through the Development of the Belicia Maps Application

Application Description

Belicia Maps is an Android-based application developed as a digital tool to support mapping, measurement, technical calculations, and the presentation of mining operational information in one practical and easy-to-use platform.

This application integrates various features, such as visualization of mining area maps, capturing and recording coordinates, measuring road slopes or grades, calculating grades between points, providing a mining technical calculator, and presenting operational target and actual information. With Belicia Maps, users can obtain field information more quickly without having to use multiple applications or perform separate calculations.

The development of Belicia Maps aims to increase the effectiveness of engineering work, accelerate the initial analysis process in the field, reduce the risk of manual calculation errors, and facilitate data-driven decision-making. The application is also designed with a simple, informative interface and can be used directly from mobile devices.

Belicia Maps serves as an inspection and initial analysis tool, not a replacement for survey equipment. Data obtained from mobile device sensors and GPS devices has limited accuracy, so measurement results requiring high accuracy must still be verified using calibrated survey equipment.
