Bekinash

Bekinash is a lowest-unique-bid auction app for real products, built for Ethiopia. Pick an amount for each entry. If only one person chooses that amount, it is unique, and when the auction closes, the lowest unique amount wins. Entries cost a fee set per auction, starting at 1 ETB, and the fee is charged when you bid and is not refunded once active. If you win, you pay your winning amount for the item separately.

Pay with Telebirr or CBE Birr by approving a prompt on your phone. Your amounts stay private while an auction runs, and My bids tracks every entry as active, matched, pending, failed, or won. The app opens in Amharic and can switch to English from Profile. You sign in with your Ethiopian phone number and an SMS code, and you can delete your account from within the app. You must be 18 or over to use Bekinash.
