User Reviews

Beatroot News app is praised for delivering unbiased, no-clickbait news and meaningful content with a clean, simple interface. However, many users face consistent issues with notification handling, where clicking push notifications fails to open the correct article. The UI/UX lacks intuitiveness and smooth navigation, with difficulties in scrolling and reading full articles. Users suggest improvements such as better navigation shortcuts and categorization of news to enhance the overall experience.

Pros

Content is unbiased, non-clickbait, and highly relevant.
News updates are straight to the point and meaningful.
The app is appreciated for its clean and simple interface.
Audio news feature is noted and appreciated by some users.
No advertisements and thoughtful features like font size adjustment.

Cons

Clicking on push notifications often directs to a wrong or random news article instead of the intended one.
User interface and UX are considered not very intuitive and outdated by multiple users.
Users face issues with scrolling, especially not being able to read the ending lines of articles properly.
Navigation is linear and can be improved for easier access to specific news or categories.
Some users report app instability on orientation change and navigation frustrations.

Recent reviews

I like the news but do not like the interface. It's not very user friendly, more often than not the ending text of pages is not scrollable 🤷🏻‍♀️ therefore whenever I use the app I feel like I am missing parts of the story due to the UI UX

Update: what a speedy fix in a few hours! Thank you Another suggestion is to enable search for a particular article with keywords and also category-wise clubbing of new articles👍 Specific Feedback I'm not able to open specific news article by clicking the notification. It goes to last read news, and then needs to be refreshed, we never get the article we clicked on the notification panel. Please look into this.
