This is built for hikers, campers, trail runners, field workers, and anyone who spends time where wildlife does. It does not try to identify species or replace a ranger. It gives calm, structured guidance you can act on in seconds.
WHAT YOU GET
Instant encounter read. A simple LOW / CAUTION / HIGH risk level based on the animal's behavior, distance, size, and your surroundings - with the reasoning shown, not hidden.
Clear next steps. Each result tells you the action to take, the things to avoid, and the single most important next move.
Unknown-animal mode. Not sure what you are looking at? Skip the species question entirely and get the safest guidance for any unfamiliar animal, defaulting to caution.
Live encounter assistant. Ask short, direct questions during an encounter and get focused answers. Works offline out of the box, with optional AI guidance when you have a connection.
Prep briefs. Before you head out, pick your environment for a quick rundown of likely risks, what to do before you go, and what never to do.
Emergency rules. A short, scannable screen you can read top to bottom in any situation, including what to do if someone is injured.

BC keeps nothing it does not need. It remembers your preferred environment and your last assessment, and you can clear both at any time. There are no accounts to create and the guidance runs on your device.
