WHERE THE PRECISION GOES

True solar time. Clock time is a convention; a chart is cast on the sun. The app corrects for longitude and shows you the correction it applied.

Solar terms, not calendar months. The month pillar changes at 節氣. A birth either side of 立春 belongs to a different year.

The 子時 rule, asked out loud. A 23:15 birth moves to the next day under one convention and not the other. You choose, and the app records which rule made your chart.

Local timezone history, including Malaysian births before 1982, Sabah and Sarawak.

Every calculation runs on your phone. No account, no login, no server. Your name, birth date, time and place stay on the device and are never uploaded.

Saved charts live in the app's own storage. Uninstalling deletes them — export first if you want to keep them.
