Bassora Tide

Bassora Tide is a single player harbor-themed puzzle game that transforms the act of popping colored bubbles into a focused, satisfying session of play. Tap any cluster of two or more touching bubbles of the same color, watch them collapse and condense toward the center of the board, and chain larger groups for combo multipliers. The bigger the catch, the higher the score.

What sets Bassora Tide apart from other match games is how one core mechanic is reshaped into three distinct experiences within a single compact app. Harbor Haul gives you exactly thirty deliberate moves to build the highest possible score, rewarding strategy and careful planning over raw speed. Tide Rush compresses a sixty-second time attack out of the same board, where quick reflexes and combo timing determine the outcome. Deep Drift removes every limit and lets the ocean keep flowing until the grid floods or no valid pop remains, turning the puzzle into a quiet endurance challenge. Each mode tracks its own personal best independently, so progress in one never overwrites another.

The app is built around a deep ocean harbor and fishing dock theme rather than generic puzzle visuals. The Fish Guide section is a small interactive encyclopedia featuring eight distinct species, from largemouth bass and rainbow trout to blue marlin and swordfish. Each entry opens into a dedicated detail screen with a short natural history and four genuine, surprising facts about the fish, so every casual session also leaves the player with something learned. The Achievements screen turns long-term play into a trophy collection, with milestones for high scores, large single pops, lifetime bubble counts and rounds completed.

Every screen is designed for a comfortable one-handed mobile experience. Layouts adapt to small phones and to larger displays, text scaling is clamped to stay legible, and the bubble grid recomputes its own cell size to fit the available space without overflow. The interface uses a dark harbor palette with soft glowing accents, radial bubble shading, and a continuously scrolling banner background that can be disabled at any time through a Reduce Motion option. Sound feedback and haptic feedback are independent toggles in Settings, and a single Reset Progress action wipes all stored statistics with a confirmation step.

Bassora Tide is fully offline. It does not require an account, does not show advertisements, does not contain in-app purchases, does not request unnecessary permissions and does not collect personal information. All progress, preferences and unlocked achievements live only on the device. The result is a polished, self-contained puzzle experience that respects the player's time, attention and privacy.
