sorry for not being so helpful. I couldn't find the notepad, notes keeper I normally use, tried this one. I'm sorry that I can't remember exactly why I didn't like this one, been a long time, maybe it needed a password or something else. or I couldn't easily stash anything except for text in it. I can't remember. so I gave you 5 stars cuz I don't remember why or what didn't work for me. I bet it works the way you intended.
