SearchOps: Log Hunter is a vendor-neutral cybersecurity investigation game designed to help players practice log analysis, threat hunting, and evidence-building skills.

Step into the role of a security analyst and investigate simulated incidents using synthetic security logs. Examine authentication activity, endpoint telemetry, web traffic, cloud events, and other security data. Build search queries, isolate suspicious activity, identify affected users and systems, and submit your findings.

Each mission introduces a new investigation scenario and progressively more advanced search concepts.

SearchOps focuses on defensive investigation and analysis. It does not connect to real security systems, scan devices, access corporate networks, or execute offensive cybersecurity actions.

All logs, users, domains, IP addresses, organizations, and incident scenarios used in the game are fictional or synthetic and are provided for educational gameplay.

SearchOps uses a simplified, vendor-neutral search language created for the game. Its commands and behavior may differ from those used by commercial security platforms.
