Doorashokaab

DoorashoKaab is an independent civic and voter-education platform developed by Bareedo Platform, a youth-led Somali organization. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any government, electoral commission, ministry, or political entity. All laws and official information in the app are reproduced from public sources, which are linked below for verification.

DoorashoKaab helps citizens take part in democratic life with clear, accessible information in both Somali and English. It is built to work in low-bandwidth conditions and for a range of digital-literacy levels, so more people can stay informed and engaged.

What you can do with DoorashoKaab:

•⁠ ⁠Read voter and election information drawn from public, officially published sources.
•⁠ ⁠Find polling and registration information to help you prepare to take part.
•⁠ ⁠Report electoral incidents you witness, and follow the status of cases you submit.

About incident reporting:
Reports submitted through DoorashoKaab are received and managed by Bareedo Platform for independent civic monitoring. They are not an official government or electoral-commission complaint channel. Submitting a report in DoorashoKaab does not file an official complaint with any authority.
