Connect an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude, then create, find, organize and complete your real tasks by asking. What the assistant does with your permission is saved in Barakah Tasks, so the work is still there when the chat ends.

The Android and web apps are complete task managers on their own. Connecting an assistant is optional.

Real tasks, not suggestions

Tell your assistant: "Follow up with the supplier tomorrow, 15 minutes after Asr." The task appears in your List with its time and its reminder. Ask what is due this week, or move the launch checklist to Thursday. This is your actual task system, not a to-do list that ends with the conversation.

You stay in control

Barakah Tasks connects through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for letting an AI assistant use tools you authorize. It works with assistants that support MCP, including ChatGPT and Claude, through your own account with them. You choose the permissions each connection gets. Every change an assistant makes is attributed to it in your activity history, and you can revoke access at any time in Settings.

Context that lasts

Every task and List has Notes, a working document you and your assistant share: the brief, the decisions, where things stand. Memory holds smaller details worth keeping, and you can correct or remove any of it. Your assistant can pick the work back up without a fresh explanation. Barakah Tasks keeps what is written there, not an archive of your chats.

Scheduling that fits your day

Schedule by the clock, by the date, or around prayer. Anchor a task before or after any of the five daily prayers, with the offset you choose. As prayer times shift through the year, the task and its reminder move with them. Prayer times are calculated on your device, with 12 calculation methods and your Asr convention.

Reminders where you are

Add a location to a task and be reminded when you arrive or leave. On Android, alerts can reach you even when the app is closed, so "collect the order when I leave work" finds you at the door. Barakah Tasks keeps the places and alerts you set, never a history of where you have been.

A planner inside the app

Separate from connected assistants, Premium+AI adds an in-app AI planner. Give it a goal, it proposes tasks, and nothing is added until you approve. It does not read your existing tasks or chats. It includes 300 generations a month, and a connected assistant does not use them.

In your vocabulary

Finish a task and it says Alhamdulillah. Clear your day and it says Masha'Allah. A daily du'a, chosen by hand from the Qur'an and hadith and never generated, greets you on the Lists screen. No badges. No streaks. No lectures.

Free and Premium

• Start without an account, and your tasks stay on your device.
• Sign in free to sync across Android and web, share Lists, and connect one AI assistant. After the first 30 days, Free accounts can add 10 new tasks or Steps a day. Automatic repeats do not count.
• Premium removes that allowance and adds cloud file storage, Google Calendar, place search, up to ten assistant connections, and signed webhooks for your automation tools.
• Premium+AI adds the in-app planner and more file storage.
• Sync is encrypted in transit and at rest. No ads. No data sales.
