The Balance Beam is a physics puzzle about a suspended mobile. It features beams with arms of varying lengths, hooks, and a set of weights. Hang all the weights so that each beam is balanced.

The true law of the lever applies here: torque = weight × arm length. The long arm strengthens the lighter weight, while the upper beams are supported by all the weight hanging below—count from bottom to top. The mobile tilts live: you can immediately see which side is more powerful, and the balanced beam turns green with triumph.
