BackJam turns your Android device into a virtual backing band for practice, rehearsal and improvisation. Build a chord progression bar by bar or generate one, then adjust the key, tempo and song length. View a scale diagram to help you solo, loop your song, and save progressions for later.

Choose from 20 styles spanning blues, rock, jazz, pop, funk and metal. Two styles are included free; others can be unlocked temporarily with an ad or permanently with a one-time purchase. Downloaded styles work offline, and playback can continue with the screen off. No account or subscription is required.
