BSTI QR Code

A modern digital system is being developed to instantly verify whether a product, either produced in Bangladesh or imported from abroad, has the necessary license/certificate/clearance from BSTI (Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution) by scanning the QR Code on the product packaging. Information related to the issuance, renewal, cancellation, and suspension of BSTI licenses can be instantly verified online by scanning the QR Code. Each BSTI-approved product will have a QR Code on its packaging alongside the BSTI logo. When any individual or organization scans the code using a smartphone, details about the BSTI-approved license/certificate/clearance, along with relevant images and logos, will be displayed.
Authorized users from BSTI offices will input the information of the organizations that have received a license/certificate/clearance from BSTI into the QR Code system, after which a QR Code will be automatically generated. BSTI will then send this QR Code to the approved service-receiving organization in soft or printed copy. The concerned organization will attach the QR Code to the product packaging or product itself. After the product is marketed, any individual or organization can scan the QR Code to verify the BSTI license/certificate/clearance.
