Dr. M.S. Thirunavukkarasu completed his BAMS, MD (Kāyacikitsā) and PhD (Kāyacikitsā) from J.S.S. Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru, SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi and ITRA, Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar respectively. He started his career as a junior research officer and became a senior research officer at the AVT institute for advanced research (Now AVP research foundation - AVPRF), a research division of Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, Coimbatore. He served as an Associate Editor and Executive editor for Ancient Science of Life – International Journal of Ayurveda, published by the Arya Vaidya Chikitsalayam & Research Institute, Coimbatore. He joined as an Assistant professor in Government Āyurveda Medical College and Hospital, Nagercoil in the department of Kāyacikitsā. He had published several articles in reputed National and International journals. He has authored the following books.

Vd. P. T. Keshavan Nambisan hails from an illustrious family of traditional Vaidyās of the Old Malabar Region of Kerala. He represents the 5th Generation in this lineage of Vaidyās devoted to practicing & upholding the traditional values of Śuddha Āyurveda combined with a successful interpretation/adoption of the knowledge of Biomedicine for the ultimate benefit of patient care.
From an early age, Vd. Keshavan was initiated into and has undergone extensive academic orientation in Yajurveda & Sanskrit Literature (Kāvyaṃ) under able Gurus. Vd. Keshavan graduated from JSS Ayurveda Medical College Mysore, affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka in 2002. He commenced his professional career as a Trainee Physician at The Arya Vaidya Chikitsalayam (AVP Group) in Coimbatore in 2002 and gradually rose to become Deputy Chief Medical Officer. Presently, he is a Senior Consultant at the institution. He has in-depth knowledge and experience in Keralīya Panchakarma Cikitsā with respect to the management of a wide range of critical and challenging diseases. He has expertise in treating chronic & progressive diseases such as autoimmune diseases (mainly Rheumatology), Cancer, Chronic Kidney Disease, Autism Spectrum diseases etc. He is a Co-Principal Investigator in the AYUSH-funded study between AVP & CCRAS on the Efficacy of Classical Ayurveda Management vs. methotrexate in Rheumatoid Arthritis (AMRA).
