Chasseco is a user-friendly Chrome extension developed by the departmental federation of hunters of Haute-Savoie. It promotes responsible and harmonious sharing of nature by providing accurate information about hunting days and non-hunting zones within Haute-Savoie.

By selecting a date and municipality or using GPS geolocation, users can view an IGN map highlighting safe areas. The map differentiates unhunted (pink) and hunted (gray) zones, with options to see neighboring communes or areas within a 10 km radius. Special Sunday afternoon zones and multiple useful resources such as walking tips, hunting regulations, and emergency contacts are also integrated. Chasseco empowers nature enthusiasts to enjoy outdoor activities safely while respecting local wildlife management practices.
