The Avi-on Home extension allows users to effortlessly control GE-branded Bluetooth wireless lighting devices such as in-wall switches, dimmers, plug-in switches, and outdoor switches right from their smartphone or tablet. It ensures a fully secured system requiring login and location services to protect device operation and enable scheduling based on sunrise and sunset.

Users can manage multiple devices through a single Avi-on account saved in the cloud for instant backup. For Wi-Fi access, remote control, Alexa compatibility, and 24/7 time synchronization, users can add the optional Avi-on Remote Access Bridge (RAB). The app supports existing GE devices as a courtesy, although these devices are no longer sold and Avi-on no longer supports Jasco Products directly. This extension is ideal for users seeking smart home lighting solutions with secure, versatile, and wireless control capabilities.

This app and the associated light switches are complete junk. My phone stopped connecting to them a while back. My wife's phone was the only one that would work. Then she got a new phone and now nothing will connect to these ridiculous switches. Hey support, I saw your unhelpful response about firmware updates. How am I supposed to update the firmware if I can't connect to the switches!?!? I don't use the app once the switches are set up and there's no notification of a firmware update. I guess I'm supposed to open the app every now and then to check? You really need to get with the program and figure out how to make an app that's usable if you require updates to continue using switches. I'm going with another brand because this is one of the worst product experiences I've ever had. The switches are junk and so is this app.

Initial thoughts. All plugged in and ready to go. Initial app launch is pretty slow and clunky so far and a lot of delay between the phone and actual light going on or off. Like others suggested a widget for the phone screen would be wonderful. App never improved and the device needs its own review but eventually it stopped working as well. (Yes I tried updating the firmware) Maybe someone else would have a better experience but I wouldnt buy this again.
