automess AmSeL-App

The automess AmSeL-App (AutomessSerialLink) is an official application by automess.
It connects your Android device to automess measuring instruments (62AD, AmSeL probes or the 6150AD base unit with probe) via Bluetooth or USB. This enables precise and mobile data acquisition.

Connection:
To connect with compatible automess radiation measuring instruments, both the BlueCom adapter and an FTDI USB connection cable are available.
The BlueCom adapter exists in two versions: One for the 6150 series and one for the newer AmSeL product line. It enables a Bluetooth connection between these devices and the App.
Alternatively, a USB-AmSeL cable (EB84-0244) allows AmSeL-compatible devices to be operated directly via the USB-C port of your smartphone.

Measurement:
Current measurement values and device data are displayed in the app, and their developement (including GPS position) can be recorded locally.
Additionally, measurement points can be defined. Each measurement point can be assigned a unique name and configurable stop conditions. Relevant data (mean value, minimum and maximum value, dose, and GPS position) can be recorded automatically.
The list of measurement points can also be saved locally.
All generated files (CSV) can be shared via the standard “Share” function and evaluated externally.

Additional Features:
The app can be set to English or German.
Operation does not require an active GPS connection.
A color-blind mode is available for users with color vision deficiencies.
Stored files can be automatically deleted after a user-defined time period.

Data Security:
The app never transmits data automatically to automess GmbH or to third parties.
Any transfer of data occurs exclusively through the user-initiated “Share” function.
