COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL
Choose the installation type at the start and the app follows the right procedure for it.
• Small commercial — natural gas, installation volume up to 1 m³, pipework to 150 mm bore, operating pressure to 40 mbar.
• Large commercial and industrial — any supported gas, larger volumes, pipework above 150 mm bore, pressures up to 16 bar.
• Strength testing where the job calls for it, with the test pressure, hold times and pass limit worked out for you.
• Test duration and allowable movement calculated from the installation volume and the gauge in your hand.
• Pipework area assessment and leak-rate criteria for existing installations, with the governing criterion shown.
• Plastic pipework and higher-pressure routes, including soak time and creep allowance.
• Commercial purging — purge volume, minimum flow rate, maximum purge time and the checks that go with them.

The certificate shows the working, not just the answer, so the figures can be checked later rather than taken on trust.
