User Reviews

User reviews show strong overall enthusiasm for faidr, with praise for local stations and album art. However, reliability is a major concern: many report startup paralysis (purple screen), freezes, and stations failing to load; playback is often interrupted and ads intrude after updates. The catalog also suffers from missing favorites, limited search results, and mislabeling some stations. The app has high potential, but persistent stability and catalog issues overshadow the positives for many users.

Pros

Strong overall quality and positive sentiment, with multiple reviewers calling it the best radio app, excellent, or amazing.
Access to local radio stations and local sports broadcasts.
Album artwork is displayed for tracks.

Cons

Startup/launch issues: frequent purple splash screen, freezes, or inability to open the app.
Playback interruptions and intrusive ads after updates, including songs stopping early and DJ/weather interruptions.
Incomplete or mislabelled station catalog, missing favorite stations and limited search results (about 5 stations in search) with some genres mislabeled.
