Cogwick: Kids Building Game

Cogwick is a kids building game about inventing, for children aged about 6 to 10, from ATHRYZA Technologies.

Cogwick the inventor bird and ten friends in town need help. Each problem is shown in a picture and a short spoken sentence. Your child chooses parts, builds a solution, predicts what will happen, presses Test and watches the machine work. When it doesn't, the game shows why, in words a child can act on, and your child changes the design and tries again.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• 1,000 puzzles in 10 workshops: structures, bridges, ramps, levers, wheels and vehicles, pulleys, gears, wind, water, and grand inventions that combine them.
• Each workshop has five chapters: first steps, trying it out, tricky limits, mixing ideas, and open problems with more than one answer.
• Free build: a workbench with the same parts and the same rules as the puzzles. Creations are saved on the device.
• Every tap is explained: glowing squares show where a part can go, puzzle parts are marked, and a part card says what it needs and why it works.
• When a test fails, a red ring shows where it went wrong and a "Try this" tip suggests what to change.
• Hints that teach first: the idea, then where to build, then one piece at a time.
• Arabic and English, with spoken guidance in both.
• Large touch targets, tap or drag to build, reduced-motion and sound settings.

A SIMPLE LEARNING MODEL
Cogwick uses a simplified model of forces and materials so children can see cause and effect. It is not precise physics, and the experiments are meant for the screen.

MADE FOR CHILDREN
• No accounts and no in-app purchases.
• Shows small, clearly labelled ads suitable for children — on iPhone and iPad only ATHRYZA's own; on Android also Google AdMob (child-directed, non-personalised), including now and then a short full-screen ad between levels, on a map or menu screen. No ads during play or at launch, no tracking; any link out of an ATHRYZA card or the game asks a grown-up first.
• Plays offline. Progress and creations stay on the device.
• Settings and every link out of the game are behind a grown-up check.
