The ATAK Plugin: GeoCam is a camera plug-in designed to work with the ATAK baseline application to capture images enriched with detailed geospatial metadata. This plugin integrates tightly with ATAK, inheriting preferences such as coordinate display, altitude units, and north reference to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Captured images include metadata such as GPS location, altitude, azimuth, pitch, roll, inclination, field of view (both horizontal and vertical), speed, accuracy, timestamp, and even street addresses based on the location. This makes GeoCam ideal for users who require precise geospatial context in photographic data, aiding in tasks related to mapping, surveying, and situational awareness.
