The ATAK Plugin: Hammer extends the Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) by providing a software modem that transmits and receives Cursor on Target (CoT) messages via voice-capable radios, including commercial walkie talkies. Compatible with ATAK versions 4.1 and 4.2 (CIV or MIL), Hammer facilitates communication of CoT map markers, self-reported locations, and chat messages between ATAK devices by modulating audio over radio channels.

Hammer integrates seamlessly with the ATAK map interface, enabling users to send CoT items directly from the radial menu or the plugin’s tool window. It supports operation with or without cables between the Android device and radio, recommending TRRS cables and VOX mode for optimal performance and reduced noise interference. Users can toggle background receiving functionality and choose between full or abbreviated CoT messages in the settings to balance data size and message accuracy. =BUG=critical= I am using the latest version and only a sample rate of 16000 works on the reciever. when I change both to 14000 it does not work. when the reciever is set to 14000 and the transmitter is set to 16000 then it works. both devices are next to each other using no audio cables in a quiet room. looks like bug was introduced in hammer v1.1 and later makes hammer very limited because my radios need a sample rate of 6600 or less I also cant find a download for tak 4.4.0 and hammer 1.0

i am using version 1.2 and the reciever is stuck to a sample rate of 16000. if i change the reciever sample rate to say 1400 and then go out of the settings and close atak and then restart atak, or even if i restart the device, then when i open it and go to settings, i see that the sample rate is changed to 14000. however, when i use another device that transmits at 14000 then the receiver cannot receive. as soon as i set the transmitter to 16000 then the receiver is able to receive despite being set to 14000. this means that i cant use this over comms that require a slower sample rate. **PLEASE can someone fix this?**
