Akeneo Mobile Connect

Akeneo-Mobile is an innovative mobile application designed to connect with Akeneo PIM servers, providing seamless access to product, category, and family information. When the app is opened for the first time, a splash screen appears, followed by a setup screen where users are prompted to enter the Akeneo server URL, client ID, and secret key. Once the required details are entered, a button labeled “Test Akeneo Connection” is available. This feature verifies the connection with the Akeneo server. If the connection is successful, the app transitions to the next screen, where users must input their username and password. After validating these credentials, users are directed to the dashboard.

The dashboard serves as the main hub of the application, displaying the total count of products, categories, and families stored in the Akeneo server. It also provides a quick overview by showcasing some product, category, and family data. The interface includes a tab navigation bar with options for Home, Products, Categories, and Settings.

In the Products section, users can browse through all the available products. A search function is integrated to enable easy filtering of specific products. Pagination is implemented to ensure smooth navigation through a large inventory. Clicking on a product opens a detailed view, showcasing the product’s image, name, attributes, and variants, if applicable.

The Categories section begins by displaying the parent categories. Upon selecting a parent category, users can view its child categories. If a child category is selected, the app further reveals its subcategories, provided they exist. When users click on the final category level, they are presented with the list of products under that category. Selecting a product takes users to its detailed view, similar to the one in the Products section.

The Settings section provides a logout option, allowing users to securely end their session and return to the login page. The app’s design is focused on offering a smooth user experience with efficient navigation and a visually appealing interface.

Akeneo-Mobile combines functionality and simplicity, making it an essential tool for users who want to access their Akeneo PIM data efficiently while on the go.
