Hatchronomy

Hatchronomy is a structured number-merging experience built around a 4×4 grid where every move defines the outcome. The player is presented with tiles containing values of 2 or 4, placed across the board in a controlled but evolving layout.

The main interaction is based on directional movement. All tiles shift simultaneously in one of four directions: left, right, up, or down. When two tiles with identical values collide, they merge into a new tile with a higher number. This progression continues step by step, forming a chain of calculated decisions.

Each move introduces a new tile onto the grid, gradually reducing available space. The objective is to reach the 2048 tile or continue playing to achieve a higher score through efficient combinations. The session ends when the grid is completely filled and no valid moves remain.

Hatchronomy focuses on clarity and responsiveness. The system reacts instantly to player input, ensuring that each action is visible and predictable. The scoring system reflects the total value gained from merges and is recorded if the result is greater than zero.

The game maintains continuity during interruptions. If the application is minimized or the player switches to another task, the current session is automatically paused. Upon returning, the player resumes from the exact state without losing progress.

Hatchronomy is built around consistent rules, clear feedback, and uninterrupted flow. Each session is defined by decision-making, spatial awareness, and the ability to plan multiple steps ahead within a limited grid.
