Cosmic Catch

Cosmic Catch is a portrait-oriented mobile game for Android set in deep space. The player controls a cosmic energy net that follows the finger on screen. Planets, stars, comets, and other objects drift slowly across the play area with subtle parallax and gentle motion. The goal is to catch only the target objects shown at the top of each level; catching the wrong object gives subtle negative feedback, while a correct catch triggers a soft glow and haptic response.

The game offers ten levels with rising difficulty: more objects on screen, faster movement, and more similar-looking cosmic items to tell apart. Each level specifies which object to catch (for example, “Catch all bright stars”) and how many are required to finish. The visual style is premium and calm: a dark cosmic background in deep blues and purples, a starfield with depth, and optional subtle nebula. There are no bright cartoon colours or exaggerated animations—only gentle floating motion and a clean, minimalist HUD.

Objects are represented by simple cosmic symbols (star, bright star, planet, Earth, comet) with a slight glow and soft shadow so they feel part of the scene. The net is a space-style energy mesh, not cartoonish. Transitions between screens are smooth, and the level-complete dialog offers “Next level” or “Level selection.” Progress is saved locally so unlocked and completed levels are restored when the app is reopened.

The experience is designed to be relaxing and focused: clear typography, elegant icons, and calm pacing without clutter. All copy and UI are in English. The app uses a local file-based storage for progress and does not rely on external game engines or shared preferences, keeping the implementation simple and self-contained.
