Symos Trader

Symos Trader is a coffee trading and traceability app for traders, buying agents, aggregators, hulling stations, cooperatives, and exporters operating in Uganda and East Africa. It connects directly to the MAAIF national farmer registration database, so you can check whether a farmer is registered and compliant before you buy. Every purchase you record is linked to the farmer's profile and verified farm boundaries, keeping your records clean and ready for any buyer that requires proof of origin.

The app covers everything you need to manage your trading day: recording purchases from farmers, managing your stock, and selling to businesses that use SYMOS or other verified platforms.

When a buyer sends you a transfer, you get a notification instantly. You can review the details and accept or decline before anything moves.

A built-in dashboard shows you your revenue, costs, and buying and selling activity over time, so you always know where your business stands.

Key Features
- Check if a farmer is compliant before you buy. Enter their Farmer ID and get an instant result: Compliant, Non-Compliant, or Invalid ID.
- Record purchases on the spot: weight, grade, price, and farmer details.
- Group your purchases into batches when you are ready to sell.
- Send batches to cooperatives, processors, or exporters using your SYM-Code, a short trader code that works like a mobile money merchant number.
- Receive incoming batches, review the details, and accept or decline before confirming.

Why compliance matters
The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requires that coffee and other commodities sold into the EU come from farms that have not contributed to deforestation. Symos Trader checks this automatically using MAAIF farmer registration data and verified GPS farm boundaries. If you buy from compliant farmers and record your purchases on Symos Trader, your trading records are ready when your buyers ask for proof.
