Introduction

The ASHA Facilitator App is a mobile platform designed to enhance the efficiency and accountability of ASHA Facilitators in supervising, supporting, and training ASHA workers at the grassroots level. Through the app, ASHA Facilitators can document ASHA activities, maintain an ASHA database, submit HBNC/HBYC reports, fill field visit forms, monitor ASHA performance, and access essential guidelines and incentives.

Purpose

The ASHA Facilitator App is designed to make it easier for ASHA Facilitators to manage and support ASHA workers. It helps them by:

Guiding and training ASHAs while they work.

Replacing a complicated web system with a simple mobile app for recording work.

Allowing real-time tracking of ASHA activities and performance.

Making important data more accessible, including records of field visits, HBNC/HBYC forms, and VHSNC details.

Users

The primary users of the app are ASHA Facilitators, whose role includes:

Handholding ASHA workers to ensure effective execution of health programs.

Monitoring ASHA activities under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).

Linking ASHAs with health structures at PHC/Block levels for community support.

Each ASHA Facilitator supervises around 10 to 12 ASHAs (adjustable per regional needs) and oversees multiple villages.
