Deflect: Neon Arcade

The core is yours. You have one shield orbiting it. Every shot coming out
of the dark has to be sent back — because every shot you miss costs a life.

Deflect is a fast one-finger reflex game. You never shoot: you return the
enemy's own fire to them.

▸ ONE FINGER, ONE RULE
Drag to spin the shield. Time it right and the shot bounces off, speeds up
and hits the enemy that fired it. Time it wrong and your core takes the hit.

▸ PERFECT DEFLECTS
Catch a shot on the bright center of the shield for a PERFECT: double
points, double damage and a much faster bullet. This is where mastery starts.

▸ COMBO CHAIN
Every deflect in a row raises your multiplier — up to 10x. One mistake
resets it. Play safe or push your luck?

▸ FOUR ENEMY TYPES
· Shooter — holds its distance and fires steadily
· Rusher — dives straight at the core; you must cut it with the shield
· Splitter — shatters into fragments when destroyed
· Orbiter — circles you and fires often

▸ BOSS WAVES
Every 4th wave brings a boss: heavily armoured, firing three-shot salvos,
and genuinely satisfying to bring down.

▸ POWER-UPS
Slow time, widen your shield, trigger a Nova that sends every shot on
screen back at the enemies, or earn an extra life.

▸ A SECOND CHANCE
When you die you can watch a short ad and pick up right where you left off —
once per run. Skip it if you'd rather not; it's never forced.
