Pocket Mode is a free and open-source Android extension designed to prevent accidental touches and clicks when your phone is inside a pocket or enclosed space. By utilizing the proximity sensor, the app detects when the screen turns on and quickly turns it off again if the sensor detects coverage, effectively blocking unintended interactions like accidental calls or app launches.

Unlike stock Android, which often lacks consistent pocket detection, Pocket Mode offers a seamless way to improve your phone's usability and reduce frustration. It uses accessibility service permissions to lock the screen without disrupting your user experience and handles phone states to avoid interference during calls. The app is fully open-source, welcoming donations but providing no paid features.
