Army MobileConnect provides instant, secure multi-factor authentication (MFA) for Army EAMS-A system logins using your personal mobile device. It allows users to protect their Army accounts by adding a second factor authentication through notifications or one-time passcodes. The extension also simplifies access by enabling login without a username and password once registered, facilitating secure desktop and mobile access to numerous Army sites backed by EAMS-A.

Users can choose between automatic push notifications or Time-based One-Time Passwords (TOTP) for validating their second factor. Note that registration for MobileConnect and a US Army EAMS-A account are required. The extension offers simple setup instructions within the app to assist users in enhancing their account security with ease.

Disastrous. It's an app designed to enable one to access Army email from their mobile device and it requires a computer to set up??!! That seems to me to defeat the purpose.
