- Good cyberpunk-themed aesthetics and art style that appeal to sci-fi fans.
- Simple yet rich game design that balances being easy to pick up and having depth.
- Fair and limited in-app purchases compared to similar games, with a friendly free-to-play model.
Cons
- Game has strong pay-to-win elements, with expensive in-app purchases and monetization mechanics like gacha and battle passes.
- Repetitive gameplay with limited story progression and few updates or new content, leading to eventual boredom.
- Combat and movement systems can feel clunky or boring, lacking strategic depth and intuitive controls.
- Overuse of anime-style female characters dressed in skimpy outfits, leading to criticism about character variety and design.
- Poor user interface including unintuitive menus, lack of useful notifications, and confusing tutorials making learning the game harder.
Recent reviews
I've played both Arclight City and CyberCode by Dex App Studio. I enjoyed Arclight City more because of its richer story, engaging missions, smoother animations, immersive sound effects, and a world that feels more alive. CyberCode is still an amazing game, but its dungeons can become repetitive over time. That said, CyberCode's main theme is unbeatable-it's one of the best cyberpunk soundtracks I've heard on mobile. Both games are definitely worth playing! I've encountered a few issues. dm u
