LanShare – File Transfer

LanShare sends files straight from one device to another over your own network. It never uses the internet.

Open LanShare on both devices and they find each other in seconds. Pick photos, videos or any file, tap the other device, and it arrives at full quality, checked on arrival. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

• No Wi-Fi? Your Android phone can create its own network, and the other device joins by scanning a code
• Share → LanShare from any app, including your gallery and file manager
• No accounts, no cloud, no ads, no tracking
• Encrypted between your devices, and nothing arrives until you tap Accept
• Any file type and size; a transfer picks up where it left off if the connection drops
• Photos and videos land in your gallery, music in Music › LanShare, everything else in Download › LanShare
• Transfers keep going with the screen off, with progress in a notification

LanShare connects only to devices on your local network, and refuses everything else. Unplug the router's internet cable or turn on airplane mode with Wi-Fi on, and it still works.
