Keep the little things you'd hate to forget.

Most of what makes a person them is small, and most of it slips away by next week. The line that made you laugh. The phase they grew out of. The ordinary day you'd give anything to replay. Memory Jar is a quiet, private place to catch those before they go, for the people who matter and for yourself.

Fill it. Seal it. Open it.

Keep a jar for each person: a partner, the kids, your mum, your mates. Everything you save lands in the right place, organised by who it's about, never buried in a notes app. Add a note or a photo whenever something happens, the funny thing they just said, the small moment you'd never otherwise remember. It builds up over weeks, months, years.

When a jar feels full, seal it into a keepsake. Replay it one memory at a time on a birthday or a big day, save it as a PDF to keep, or share it with the people in it as a private link.

Not only for families. A jar is just a person, or a chapter, worth remembering: your child's childhood, the two of you, your closest people, or just you and the good days in your own words. Some jars are a gift you build over time, sealed and locked until a date, then handed over. Some are for a stretch of life: a pregnancy, a year abroad, a first season somewhere new.

Your memories stay yours. These are sensitive, personal things, so Memory Jar is built to keep them on your phone, where even we can't read them. Your jars live in an encrypted database on your device. Turn on cloud backup and everything is encrypted on your phone first, with a key locked by your passphrase, so we store only the scrambled version. Share a keepsake and the key to open it rides in the link itself, never sent to us. No ads, no trackers, nothing sold. You can lock the app behind your fingerprint or face, and cloud data is hosted in the UK.
