BahiSathi: GST Invoice & Bill

BahiSathi is a GST billing app for small businesses in India. Make an invoice or
a quotation on your phone, get a clean PDF, and send it to the customer on
WhatsApp.

This app was called AY Quotation before. Same app, same team. The name changed
because it now does invoices and GST returns, not just quotations.

Who it is for: shop owners, traders, contractors, electricians, interior
designers, freelancers and small agencies. Anyone billing thirty or forty
customers a month who does not want full accounting software.

GST

Pick the place of supply and the app applies the correct tax. CGST and SGST
inside your own state. IGST when the customer is in another state. UTGST for
union territories. Cess is supported. You can put different tax rates on
different lines of the same bill.

Invoice numbers run in one unbroken series for each financial year, as the GST
rules require. The series restarts on 1 April.


THE PDF

The invoice PDF carries every field Rule 46 asks for. Your GSTIN and the
customer's GSTIN. HSN or SAC code on every line. The tax split. The amount in
words. Your logo and a signature block.

PHONE AND COMPUTER

One account covers both. Sign in on the phone and the same business opens at
app.bahisathi.com in any browser. Bill customers at the shop. Do the month-end
work on a computer.


GST RETURNS

Export any month as GSTR-1 JSON for the government offline utility. CSV export
is there too, if your accountant prefers that. The export covers B2B, B2CL,
B2CS, credit and debit notes, the HSN summary and the document series.

Please check the figures against your books before you file.


WORKS OFFLINE

Create, edit and preview documents without internet. Only issuing a numbered
document needs a connection, because the number has to be reserved against your
series so that no two bills can get the same number.


PRICE

BahiSathi is free. The free plan gives you 50 issued documents per financial
year and unlimited drafts. All document types, PDF sharing, customer list, price
list and GSTR-1 export are included, on phone and web both.

Use all 50 and you can still keep drafting. Issuing pauses until 1 April, when
the count resets.

A Pro plan is coming later with unlimited documents, multiple businesses and
staff logins. We will announce the price before it launches.


WHAT BAHISATHI DOES NOT DO

• No e-invoice (IRN) generation
• No e-way bills
• No iPhone app yet. Use the web app in Safari.

If your turnover is above the e-invoice limit, please do not bill through
BahiSathi for those invoices. It is a billing app, not accounting software, and
it does not replace your accountant.
