Review summary

Users find Face Meme Maker fun for pranks and laughs, and some praise its fast, good-quality face swaps, free access, and editing options. Many complaints say it doesn't truly swap faces and only pastes one image over another without blending. Others report that it requires extra downloads or separate apps, that face detection is unreliable, that sideways photos fail, and that automatic mode and servers often don't work. Overall, the app is entertaining but inconsistent and technically limited.

Pros

  • Fun and entertaining for pranks, laughs, and sharing with friends
  • Free to use, with no watermarks
  • Face swap quality is good and fast for some users, with editing options afterward
  • Offers extra filters such as hair, mustache, and face morph

Cons

  • Doesn't perform a true face swap; it mostly pastes one face on top of the other without blending
  • Requires extra downloads or separate apps to function
  • Face detection is unreliable, struggles with some photos, and can show only half a face
  • Sideways-rotated photos can't be face mapped
  • Automatic mode fails and servers are sometimes unreachable

Nice app

Ma*****

Makes you download a separate zip file to function, and then it is just a 50% transparent overlay you have to resize yourself. Utterly useless junk!

Ed*****

Just Gawd awful bad! Like a really bad cut and past

Ab*****

Automatic doesn't work. Servers unreachable.

Da*****

Doesn't actually have a simple face swap.

Ju*****

Don't like it. The blend thing doesn't really work. I downloaded another one like this with a lot less stars that works a lot better! Bye!

Ar*****

Face swap is pretty good and fast compared to the other apps I tried before. Had fun with the meme maker and face morph too. Keep it free!

Su*****

Face swap quality is good for full passport photos. No watermarks. I like it. Update: It is better now with reface and is still free. Thanks.

Mi*****

It's pants. Don't bother.

An*****

This app gave me editing options after face swap unlike the other apps I tried.
