App Search & Permission is a free utility tool that helps you see what permissions are declared by apps installed on your Android device.

WHAT THIS APP DOES:
• Shows a searchable list of all apps installed on your device
• Displays which dangerous (runtime) permissions each app has declared in its manifest file
• Shows whether each declared permission is currently granted or denied on your device
• Filter apps by permission status: Allowed, Denied, Limited, or No Permissions
• Tapping "Open Settings" takes you directly to Android's built-in App Info screen where you can manage permissions

WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO:
• Does NOT grant, revoke, or modify any app permissions
• Does NOT access your camera, microphone, contacts, or location
• Does NOT collect, store, or upload any data
• Does NOT connect to the internet
• Does NOT track your usage in any way

HOW IT WORKS:
This app uses Android's public PackageManager API to read the list of installed apps and their declared permissions. This is publicly available information that Android exposes through its standard API. The only permission this app uses is QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES, which is required to display the full list of installed apps.

PERMISSION USED:
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES — Required to read the list of all installed apps on your device. This is the only permission this app uses.

IMPORTANT:
This app only reads publicly available permission data using
Android's standard API. To change any app's permissions, you must use Android's own Settings. This app takes you there directly with one tap.
