The Iron Plate Divine Numerology, invented by Shao Yong (Shao Kangjie) during the Song Dynasty, is an ancient Chinese divination technique that flourished during the Qianlong and Jiaqing reigns of the Qing Dynasty. However, in-depth analysis of the data reveals that its true origin is no longer verifiable. The most complete and researchable documents are the Daoguang edition of 13 volumes of "The Divine Calculation of Iron Plate Numbers" in the Qing Dynasty's revised Siku Quanshu and the old manuscript of "The Iron Plate Numbers Without Volumes".
