AvareX

AvareX is a free, cross-platform electronic flight bag (EFB) for pilots flying VFR and IFR routes. Built by the team behind Avare, it provides offline VFR sectional, TAC, helicopter, IFR enroute, approach, and airport charts, plus moving-map navigation with terrain, airspace, flight instruments, and georeferenced plates.

The app includes METARs, TAFs, PIREPs, AIRMETs, SIGMETs, TFRs, radar, winds aloft, ADS-B traffic, GPS receiver support, GPWS terrain alerts, route planning, FAA flight plan filing, aircraft performance calculations, weight and balance, digital logbooks, checklists, and track playback. Optional Pro services add AI flight assistance, cloud sync, pilot groups, and aircraft scheduling. AvareX runs on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, and Raspberry Pi.
