🔐 AccessibilityService Usage

AppLock uses Android AccessibilityService to provide its app-locking functionality. The service helps AppLock detect when an application selected by the user for protection is opened, so AppLock can display the authentication screen and require the user to verify their identity before accessing the protected application.

AccessibilityService is used only to support the app-locking functionality. AppLock does not use AccessibilityService for call recording, advertising, analytics, or unrelated purposes.

Users can enable or disable Accessibility Service access at any time through Android Accessibility settings.
