It almost works. But it only creates a point for the current location, turning it useless. Sharing the destination directly, or switching navigation direction and sharing causes it to crash.

Very simple way to send a single location from Google Maps to Garmin Explore and then on to the watch with just one extra click. Have not found anything else that could do this. Some oddities. If the start location is 'Your Location', the way point generated is actually your own location, not the destination. Ideal for me would be if it could send the entire route, not just the destination. Currently it seems the watch figures out it's own route by road, rather than the Google Maps route.
