🛠 How it works (Transparent technical explanation)

AI object recognition: Leverages Google ML Kit technology to detect and track objects (people, cars, bicycles, etc.) on the screen in real time.

Pixel-based calculation: Calculates how much the recognized object has moved between frames (pixel change).

Speed ​​conversion: Converts pixel movement to actual speed (km/h) based on the user-entered "distance" and the app's "baseline angle of view (approximately 60°)".

📝 How to Use

Enter the approximate distance (m) between the path the object you want to measure will take and your location. (The more accurate the distance, the lower the error.)

Fix the camera and focus it on the moving object.

A square box (overlay) on the screen will follow the object and calculate its speed.

Once the measurement is complete, press the "Stop" button to save the record.

Distance Setting: If the entered distance differs from the actual distance, the calculated results will be inaccurate.

Fixed Angle of View: This app calculates based on the angle of view of a typical smartphone camera (approximately 60°). The error may increase with device lens characteristics or when using the zoom function.

Movement Direction: The accuracy is highest when the object passes left or right in front of the camera. Movements toward or away from the camera may cause the speed to be measured lower than actual.

Shake: Shaking your smartphone can cause the background to be perceived as moving, leading to errors in speed calculations. If possible, keep your device still.
