The Korean ITS Society was established with the goal of promoting technology development and talent nurturing through smooth information exchange between ITS-related interdisciplinary systems and providing opinions from a comprehensive and objective perspective in government policy and technology proposals.

The ITS Society of Korea plans to operate in the future with the aim of publishing journals, holding seminars and academic conferences, establishing an industry-academia-research cooperation system, and promoting ITS-related international exchange and research and research projects.

The Korean ITS Society creates the conditions for vitalizing ITS projects in the government, acts as an intermediary between the government and member companies in doing ITS projects, creates conditions for member companies to actively participate, and acts as a facilitator of ITS projects through technical support.
